Does INSPEC work offline?
INSPEC requires connectivity. It is a mobile-optimized web app that runs in the browser on phones and tablets — there is no separate app to install and no offline mode.
How many assets can I track?
From a handful to tens of thousands. INSPEC is built to scale from a single-site small business to a multi-facility enterprise on the same platform.
Can I define my own asset types?
Yes. Start from the built-in template library or build any custom asset type with its own inspection checklist, custom fields and regulatory intervals — no developer required.
Which browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox. QR/barcode scanning requires camera access over a secure (HTTPS) connection.
